The Judy Ann Legare Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in honor of the late Judy Ann Legare of Johns Island, South Carolina. A proud graduate of St. John's High School, Class of 1979, Judy dedicated her life to serving others through her involvement with Wesley United Methodist Church, community organizations, and her work with the Charleston County School District.
Known for her compassion and generosity, Judy touched countless lives through her acts of kindness and unwavering commitment to helping children succeed. Each year, she personally purchased school supplies and distributed them to students in the community, ensuring they had the tools needed for a successful school year.
To continue her legacy of service, the Judy Ann Legare Foundation was established on April 1, 2015. Guided by the motto, "Elevate Your Mind," the Foundation is committed to empowering students and strengthening families by providing school supplies, educational resources, and community support that inspire learning, promote well-being, and create opportunities for success.
